Croossy Road is an arcade or endless runner game developed and published by an Australian company in 2014. The name with a playful concept plays on the joke about the need for a chicken to cross the road. Therefore, the goal of the game is to guide the character along an endless path of static, moving obstacles for the longest possible distance without losing. By default, the central character is a chicken. The player who plays for her must cross busy roads with railway tracks with her character. In addition to the chicken, the arcade features other heroes. Depending on the character's choice, the location with the number of obstacles changes. For example, when playing as an astronaut, the player jumps over, runs around, and goes around asteroids in space.
In the original, the player needs to jump to move forward or move his finger on the screen in the direction of movement. A number of characters are unlocked using cash and in-game currency. The latter can be obtained by collecting in-game coins. These are golden-yellow details that come across when viewing an advertisement, a daily gift, or completing a task. For 100 coins you can play the lottery and try to win a new character. Interestingly, the characters and story missions reference various famous video games and pop culture, such as Forget-Me-Not and Emo Goose.
