Aurora Hills: Chapter 2 is a puzzle adventure game. You continue to play as Ethan Hills, the park's caretaker. Core mechanics, such as touch and point interactions, inventory management, notes, and photography, are also unchanged from the first game.

The gameplay has been completely redesigned. The game features new locations, new items, and puzzles with new mechanics. These elements are fully consistent with the game's storyline. Regarding the storyline, Aurora Hills: Chapter 2 continues the unfinished story of the previous game. Therefore, for the full experience, you should first play and complete Aurora Hills: Chapter 1. Puzzles, a core part of the gameplay, are varied, numerous, and scattered throughout the game.
