Loop Hero

Loop Hero is a pixel art game developed by a Russian studio in 2021 and received positive reviews from critics. According to the plot, the game universe is placed in a time loop. All the inhabitants of the world had their memories erased. Most of the inhabitants found themselves in darkness, which dissipates when memories appear. In the gameplay, the main character walks around a looped road and fights enemies. In this case, the player does not influence the actions of the hero, but can change the surrounding reality to make life easier or strengthen the willpower of the protagonist.

With each circle the enemies become stronger. Before the battle with intelligent and more powerful opponents, the protagonist communicates with them. Through dialogues, the player receives useful information that helps him enable certain game mechanics. In the course of destroying monsters, the player receives experience points. He can exchange them for equipment, maps of the area and his own camp. By advancing the camp, the user gets the opportunity to change the hero class. The entire arcade is divided into four acts. One run takes 10 minutes. The total passage of acts takes up to 30 hours of game time.
