Game plot
In Sonic Mania Plus, the player again takes on the roles of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles when they encounter Dr. Eggman and his robotic army. Eggman has dug up a mysterious object - the Phantom Ruby, which gives him the power to change reality and create dangerous scenes. The main goal of our hero is to stop the villainous genius, return the ruby and restore order to the world. In addition, this game introduces two new characters, Mighty and Ray, each with unique skills. The story unfolds across multiple levels that feature updated takes on traditional settings.
