DAVE THE DIVER

Dave the Diver is a hybrid of action-adventure, RPG-style progression, and restaurant simulation, featuring a vibrant art style and plenty of humor. Each day is divided into several diving excursions and a single shift at the restaurant.

Description

The gameplay loop revolves around balancing two roles for Dave. During the day, he heads into the "Blue Hole" equipped with a harpoon, an oxygen tank, and a container for his catch. His objectives include gathering specific fish and resources, completing active missions, and collecting blueprints and loot. At night, the catch is turned into dishes to serve customers, while the player works to upgrade the establishment and earn money. These earnings are then used to improve gear and expand the restaurant. This contrast in mechanics creates a dense, engaging gameplay experience, with the player constantly switching between exploration, combat, and management.
