Servant of the Lake

Servant of the Lake is a puzzle-adventure game. It employs classic point-and-click mechanics, allowing you to explore rooms, click on objects, and pick up and combine items. The puzzles are built upon surreal connections.

Description

The game takes place in 1839 at the Vanderboom family estate—decades before the events of *Rusty Lake: Roots*. The player controls the estate’s housekeeper; her routine duties (tidying up, making breakfast, doing laundry) intertwine with unsettling and bizarre tasks. Brothers Aldous and William are attempting to create the elixir of life, and the protagonist must assist with their alchemical experiments—and clean up the aftermath. Dark family secrets and rituals are revealed through mundane details and disturbing discoveries.
